Horse Evaluation and Veterinary Science Results

Contest Results

The state Horse Evaluation and Veterinary Science Career Development Events were held November 18 at Murray State University.

Twenty six teams from across the state competed in the Horse Judging CDE which included placing live classes of animals and justifying these placings through oral reasons.  Congratulations to the following teams and individuals:

  • 1st- Central Hardin
  • 2nd- Warren Central
  • 3rd- Scott County
  • High Individual- Colton Raines- Calloway County

Nineteen teams participated in the Veterinary Science Career Development Event.  Congratulations to the following teams and individuals:

  • 1st- Locust Trace
  • 2nd- McCracken County
  • 3rd- Meade County
  • High Individual- Luke Wilson- Henderson County

Thanks to Murray State University of hosting these events and to all who participated.  Good luck to Central Hardin and Locust Trace as they prepare for the national contests in Indianapolis in 2016.
