Growing the next generation of leaders who will change the world.

The Kentucky FFA Association is a student-led organization whose mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

Agricultural Education consists of three inter-related components:

Classroom /
Laboratory

Classroom and Laboratory instruction involves students learning about various aspects of the agricultural industry from a certified teacher of agriculture. Instruction includes classroom instruction as well as hands on learning through various lab based activities.

Supervised Agricultural
Experience (SAE)

SAE involves students applying their knowledge of agriculture through a variety of Supervised Agricultural Experiences that may include entrepreneurship, job placement, service learning, research, and school based enterprises.

National FFA
Organization

FFA allows students to apply what they have learned in the classroom through service as a chapter leader, various competitive events, and by service to the local school and community.

Membership & Community Benefits

FFA is an intracurricular student organization for students interested in agriculture and leadership. Giving members the chance to develop their unique talents and explore a wide range of agricultural career pathways, our goal is to strengthen real-world skills, builds confidence, and connect students with hands-on learning that prepares them for future success.

In Kentucky, FFA is truly for everyone; members range from 12 to 21 years old and are actively enrolled in at least one agriculture course, creating a diverse community of young leaders who share a passion for agriculture, growth, and service.
