Kentucky FFA Foundation Welcomes Krystal Gunderson to Board of Trustees

The Kentucky FFA Foundation is pleased to welcome Krystal Gunderson of Russellville as the newest member of its Board of Trustees. Gunderson serves as Community President for First Southern National Bank in Logan County and brings both a professional and personal connection to FFA and agriculture. She was an FFA member in high school, an experience she credits with teaching her social skills, structure, and discipline that have been important throughout her career.

FFA continues to be an important part of Gunderson’s life. She and her husband, Guy, have twin sons, Isaac and Landon, who are seniors at Todd County Central High School and active FFA members. Through their involvement, she has had the opportunity to see firsthand how FFA continues to make a difference for students.

In her role at First Southern, Gunderson is passionate about coaching others and helping make a difference in the lives of those around her. Growing up on a farm, she learned early that not every day is an easy one, but those challenges can help develop the determination and work ethic needed to succeed, something she sees reflected in the values taught by FFA.

“This organization has been making a difference in the lives of young adults for many years, and I can’t wait to share in the future success of FFA,” Gunderson said.
