The 2014 State Land Judging Career Development Event was held Thursday, November 6th in Hardinsburg.  Twenty two chapters from across the state competed for the state title and the chance to advance to the National Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma City in 2015.

Cumberland County FFA was the winning team with a score of 928.  Team members were Bethany Myers, Levi Owens, Peyton Young, and Brooke Wallace.  Their advisor is Lannie Willen.  Other teams placing were:

2nd Place- Caldwell County

3rd Place- Spencer County

4th Place- Madison Central

5th Place- Muhlenberg County

The overall high individual in the contest was Brook Wallace of Cumberland County.  The second high individual was Derek McDaniels of Madison Central and third high individual was Zach Berry of Spencer County.
