The State FFA Horse Judging and Veterinary Science Career Development Events were held November 16 at Murray State University. A record 37 Horse Judging teams and 35 Veterinary Science teams participated. Thanks to the MSU Hutson School of Agriculture for coordinating and hosting these events.

The KACTE Entrepreneurship Event is a great opportunity for you to earn some extra money for your SAE program. Entries in the contest take the form of a 4-6 minute online video about your plan to start or expand an entrepreneurial business and the submission of a one page executive summary.
Public school students in grades 10-12 are invited to apply for membership on the Commissioner’s Student Council, an advisory group that provides input and feedback to Kentucky Commissioner of Education Stephen Pruitt. The council also is designed to engage student leaders in learning by doing.
