Virtual Leadership Workshops Scheduled for January

We're excited to announce a series of virtual leadership workshops during the month of January. The schedule of workshops is below.

Members are asked to register by January 9 by going to https://forms.gle/RT8pSgFhSuNhdN3A9 You will receive login information for the workshop a few days ahead of time by email.

All workshops will be led by Kentucky FFA State Officers. Special Guest speakers will join workshops as follows:

January 11- Finding Your Strength in FFA- Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles
January 12- Basic Communication Skills- Director of Governor's Office of Agriculture Policy Dorsey Riddle
Janaury 12- Advanced Communication Skills- EngAGe Kentucky Outreach Director Warren Beeler
January 14- Basic Team Dynamics- EngAGe Kentucky Outreach Director Warren Beeler
January 14- What Comes Next?- Director of Governor's Office of Agriculture Policy Dorsey Riddle
January 19- Advanced Team Dynamics- Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles
January 25- What Comes Next?- Past National FFA Officer Gracie Furnish
January 28- Finding Your Strength in FFA- Past National FFA Officer Kourtney Lehman

Workshop	Dates	Audience	Description
Basic Communication Skills	January 12 & January 28 7:30 p.m. eastern/6:30 central	7-10 graders	Members will learn how to communicate effectively through verbal and non-verbal means.
Basic Team Dynamics	January 14 & January 19 7:30 p.m. eastern/6:30 central	9-10 graders	Members will identify qualities of successful teams and learn how to apply this knowledge to be productive team members.
Finding Your Strengths in FFA	January 11 & January 28 7:30 p.m. eastern/6:30 central	7-10 graders	Members will determine their passions and strengths and consider how to apply these through FFA events.
Advanced Team Dynamics	January 11 & January 19 7:30 p.m. eastern/6:30 central	11-12 graders	Members will examine the things that lead to the downfall of teams and develop a plan to ensure that these things don’t happen to teams that they are a part of.
What Comes Next?	January 14 and January 25 7:30 p.m. eastern/6:30 central	11-12 graders	Members will learn to apply the skills they have learned in FFA to being successful after high school.
Advanced Communication Skills	January 12 and January 19 7:30 p.m. eastern/6:30 central	11-12 graders	Members will learn how to apply communication skills they already have in order to be advocates in various situations.
