Better Days Better Ways - Now Available!

Grants provided by the Mulhollem Cravens Foundation intended to help FFA Chapters develop a sustainable food production project that addresses food insecurity in their local community.

SAE Launch Grant - Now Available 

Due October 15th, 2020

‚ÄčThe Kentucky FFA Foundation is offering a NEW SAE Grant opportunity to your students.  This grant will replace Ag Entrepreneurship Grants, Livestock Grants and SAE Mini Grants. If you have a student who has typically applied for one of those grants in the past this is now the one they will need to apply for.

Shark Tank Grants 

The Kentucky FFA Foundation Shark Tank Contest awards venutre capital to aspiring agricultural entrepreneurs. Students are asked to develop a video showcasing their business idea & plan for a chance to win $5,000 in funding! This event is made possible from generous donations from Owensboro Grain & Give FFA Day.

Ag Acheiver Grants - Available Fall 2020

The Kentucky Department of Agriculture has established a grants program to assist projects of local FFA Chapters. Any county FFA Chapter may apply. A state committee appointed by the Commissioner of Agriculture will judge all applications.

The Ag Achiever Grant is designed to help local Agricultural Education progorams enhance learning opportunities for students. Enhancements may include but are not limited to the purchase of new equipment or teaching resources, modifications to existing equipment or facilities, implementation of innovative programming for students. Ag Programs may apply for up to $5000 for Ag Achiever Grants. Grant applications over $2500 require a dollar for dollar match.

Rising Sun Initiative

Available to support the expansion of agricultural education and support those educators who dedicate their lives to teaching and advising. The Rising Sun would provide a one-time grant up to $5,000 to a school that opens an agricultural education program or a program in transition.
