Shark Tank Grant
The Kentucky FFA Foundation Shark Tank Contest awards venture capital to aspiring agricultural entrepreneurs. Students are asked to develop a video showcasing their business idea & plan for a chance to win $5,000 in funding! This event is made possible from generous donations from Owensboro Grain & Give FFA Day.

Jacket Grant
The Kentucky FFA Foundation will be coordinating the FFA Jacket Program. This program is sponsored by the Kentucky FFA Foundation and generous individual donors of the KY FFA Blue & Gold Gala.
We will be awarding one full jacket scholarship to one student per chapter. Please note there is an advisor portion along with a student section on the form. It asks for the student’s name, grade, and a brief statement from the student on what it would mean to them to receive this jacket scholarship.

SAE Launch Grant
The Kentucky FFA Foundation is pleased to offer the SAE Launch Grant. Students may apply for a $500 SAE Launch Grant, to “launch” a new SAE project or expand an already existing SAE project. We encourage any of your students to take advantage of this opportunity, unless they received a Spring 2025 grant.

Agriscience Fair Resource Grants
The Kentucky FFA Foundation is offering $250 Agriscience Fair Resource Grants, generously funded by ADM, to help FFA chapters provide hands-on research opportunities for their students. These grants are intended to support the purchase of materials, equipment, or supplies that enable students to design and conduct agriscience research projects as part of classroom instruction or FFA Agriscience Fair participation. Each school may receive one $250 grant. Funds must be used for instructional materials or resources directly related to student research projects.

Washington Leadership Conference Scholarship – Individual & traveling with chapter
We still plan to offer individual scholarships to students traveling with their local FFA Chapter. That application will be available in January.

AG Achiever & Ag Innovation Grant
The Ag Achiever Grant is designed to help local Agricultural Education programs enhance learning opportunities for students. Enhancements may include but are not limited to the purchase of new equipment or teaching resources, modifications to existing equipment or facilities, implementation of innovative programming for students. Ag Programs may apply for up to $5,000 for Ag Achiever Grants. Grant applications over $2,500 require a dollar for dollar match.
The Ag Innovation Grant is designed to help local Agricultural Education programs transform student instruction and outreach to the community. To be approved applications must demonstrate the proposed project will positively impact student achievement and the local agriculture economy. Ag Programs may apply up to $10,000. Applications do not require a match, but preference will be given to applications that include additional local funds.

Better Days Through Better Ways Grant
Grants provided by the Mulhollem Cravens Foundation intended to help FFA Chapters develop a sustainable food production project that addresses food insecurity in their local community. Please check your email for application. If you need a copy, please email ashley.weaver@kyffa.org.

Rising Sun Initiative
Available to support the expansion of agricultural education and support those educators who dedicate their lives to teaching and advising. The Rising Sun would provide a one-time grant up to $5,000 to a school that opens an agricultural education program or a program in transition. An email will be sent to eligible chapters.
