National Finalists From Kentucky Named
Kentucky was well represented in National FFA Paperwork Judging which was completed in July. This year our Association had one National Star finalist, six national Proficiency finalists, ten Agriscience Fair finalists, and two finalists for National Chapter Awards.
Terry Napier of Madison Southern FFA was named as one of four finalists for the American Star in Agribusiness award. This is one of the four highest awards given by the organization.
The six National Proficiency Finalists from Kentucky are:

- Turner Cottrell- LaRue County- Fiber and Oil Crop Production
- Emily Herndon- Spencer County- Food Science and Technology
- Wyatt Wood- McCracken County- Forage Production
- John Brumley- Spencer County- Landscape Management
- Ethan Ellis- Boyle County- Swine Production Entrepreneurship
The ten National Agriscience Fair projects in the finals are:

- Kaitlin Chandler and Emily Wilson- South Warren- Food Products Division 4
- Seyan Perry- Franklin Simpson- Plant Systems Division 1
- Dalton England and Justin Page- Franklin Simpson- Division 2
- Sarah Ann Randall and Makayla Richter- Boyle County- Plant Systems Division 4
- Ben James- Franklin Simpson- Power, Structure, and Technical Systems Division 1
- Justin Arnett and Caleb Fitzpatrick- Montgomery County- Power, Structure and Technical Systems Division 4

The two National Chapter Finalists are:
- Boyle County FFA- National Model of Innovation in Community Development
- Taylor County FFA- National Model of Excellence Award
