Kentucky FFA Foundation Mission

 
The Kentucky FFA Foundation is an independent organization devoted to accomplishing the aims of the FFA mission: “To make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential fro premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.” The Kentucky FFA Foundation will ensure the success of the total program of Agricultural Education in Kentucky by:

  • Providing recognition to Kentucky FFA members
  • Supporting the work of the Kentucky Association FFA
  • Supporting the Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center
  • Supporting local FFA chapters and members
  • Supporting Teachers of Agriculture
  • Supporting Teacher Education
  • Supporting State Staff

 

Grants & Applications

Ag Acheiver Grants

The Kentucky Department of Agriculture has established a grants program to assist projects of local FFA Chapters. Any county FFA Chapter may apply. A state
committee appointed by the Commissioner of Agriculture will judge all applications.

Grants will range from $300 to $3,000 annually. Matching funds are not required for grants of less than $1,000. A 50% match is required for grants of $1,000 to $1,999, and a dollar for dollar match is required on grants from $2,000 to $3,000.

Ag Entrepreneurship Grants

Grants sponsored by the Kentucky FFA Foundation Project LEAD for students to develop or enhance their Supervised Agricultural Experience Projects.

Grants provided by the Mulhollem Cravens Foundation intended to help FFA Chapters develop a sustainable food production project that addresses food insecurity in their local community.
