Dear Greenhands,

If you’re reading this, then I’m afraid you’ve already experienced the abnormal things our advisors do to reel us into the FFA. I remember how I would sit in my principles of agriculture class while my advisor would belt out the longest rendition of Happy Birthday… Even if it was no one’s birthday… These strange behaviors would cause a normal person to run straight toward the guidance office and register for a different class. For one reason or another, it’s because of these strange behaviors that we’ve decided to give it a chance, starting our path in the FFA.

You’ve spent hours memorizing facts of FFA history, days reciting the creed, and a whole semester doing whatever it is your chapter has asked of you. Because of your hard work and dedication, you’ve proven yourself to your chapters, your State Association, and the National FFA Organization. Congratulations to your great achievement!

As you continue in the FFA, may you learn how to better leave your mark in our organization. The opportunities are endless, however, the time to do so isn’t. Click the link below to see how you can better impact the lives of the ones around you.

                                                                                  Sincerely,

                                                                      BrianWelch
