FFA Resources
The “Future Farmers of America” was founded by a group of young farmers in 1928. Following the words of the FFA Motto, these young people were “Doing to learn” by working towards their goal of creating a broad base of agriculturists to provide for growing populations.
Because of their contagious passion and determination to achieve, millions have been educated about not only agriculture’s classic duties of herding and harvesting, but also its necessary involvement in biology, communications, business, and engineering.
Today, agriculture faces the same challenge of feeding, clothing, sheltering, and fueling a population as it did over 80 years ago. Today, FFA develops strong individuals on the chapter, state, and national levels, who are prepared to confront America’s challenges, serve in America’s communities, and join America’s workforce by entering a wide variety of career pathways.
